CTIA Interview with Floatograph Technologies
Tell our readers a little about your company. What’s your main line of business?
Floatograph Technologies is a veteran-owned business that supplies telescoping masts and tactical trailer systems to a wide variety of industries that need to gain an elevated platform and/or have mobile power generation and climate controlled computer enclosure options.
Where is your current product emphasis at CTIA?
For the wireless community, our military proven advanced tactical trailers and masts offer efficient mobile ground based solutions for reliable disaster relief support or temporary deployment of additional infrastructure. Utilized as portable cell sites or wireless Hot Spots and hybrid energy power generation stations, complete with climate controlled electronics enclosures, our products are suitable for many harsh operational environments.
What distinguishes Floatograph’s product(s) from the competition?
With a smaller footprint than other systems on the market, our trailer and mast systems are much quicker to deploy due to our compact design. They are not only reliable, but easy to operate and service. We have a world of experience providing customized mast and trailer solutions for the military, homeland security and scientists, consisting of made in the USA commercial off the shelf and readily available parts.
What would you say makes your company unique?
When there is a need to rapidly deploy an antenna, sensor, camera or similar platform from 10 to 70+ feet high utilizing a minimum of manpower, Floatograph’s mast and trailer systems are ideal. Also, our base models commonly require little customization to meet the unique demands of the end user, thus saving NRE costs, and resulting in faster delivery times.
Are you introducing any new products?
Yes, our new Hybrid Powered TXE Series trailer incorporates solar, wind and DC generator power options to extend runtime, reduce fuel and delivery costs, and offer many power generation choices while in the field. For anyone who deploys our systems far from any real infrastructure, this versatility is a powerful contributor to mission success.
How does Floatograph handle sales?
All of our products are sold direct, no middle distributers, allowing us to work in a highly effective streamlined fashion from design to delivery.
